Birchfield Big Local is offering an exciting opportunity for someone to take on the role of part-time Youth Worker to engage with young people to make Birchfield an even better place to live and work.
BIRCHFIELD BIG LOCAL YOUTH WORKER
(Fixed term contract until 31st December 2018)
£11,428.57 per annum (based on full-time equivalent of £20,000 per annum)
20 hours per week
Based at Grosvenor Road Studios, 16 Grosvenor Road, Birchfield, Birmingham B20 3NP
The Youth Worker will engage and build relationships with young people in the Birchfield Big Local area to facilitate their personal, social and educational development and enable them to develop their voice, influence and place in the local community and wider society. To develop the work of Birchfield Big Local with young people including youth activities, volunteering, and opportunities for young people to contribute to the Big Local outcomes. The person appointed will be employed through BVSC who act as the Local Trusted Organisation for Birchfield Big Local.
