Volunteer Coordinator for the past three-years – Suki Sohi – left in December for a post with Focus Birmingham, a charity providing expert support, advice and information to people affected by sight loss or other disabilities. Suki recruited many volunteers and guided and supported them in their various roles with Birchfield Big Local. She will be greatly missed by all. We wish her all the best in her new role with Focus Birmingham. Staff and volunteers organised a leaving do for Suki at Grosvenor Road Studios, which was an opportunity for everyone to thank Suki for her contribution to Birchfield Big Local over the past three years and wish her well for the future.
