Birchfield Big Local and Birmingham City Council – Perry Barr District are holding an Environment Summit in association with other key stakeholders in the area to explore what positive actions can be taken, initially in Birchfield, to improve clean streets, recycling and the physical environment.

The date is Wednesday 16th November 2016, commencing 9.30am (registration and refreshments) for a 10am (prompt) start. The Summit will conclude at 3pm.

Lisa Trickett, Cabinet Member for clean streets, recycling and environment will be attending.
There will be a mixture of presentations and workshops exploring themes such as Environment and Education; Environment, Health and Wellbeing; Mapping local issues and identifying solutions; Working in partnership to reduce and re-use waste. The day will conclude with a Question and Answer session with a panel including representatives from Birmingham City Council and other key partners.
