Crick Gardens CIC is a unique and welcoming space in the heart of Handsworth. They have partnered with Seven Up to create a new build in the garden space which come Spring will be available to hire. Seven Up are a charity who provide play and leisure opportunities for children and young people in Birmingham (especially, but not exclusively those with disabilities/mental health or other additional needs). Their aim is to help young people develop their relationships and capabilities through activities in order to aid one another’s growth as active members in society.

“Through the Crick Project we aim to create a sustainable community garden in the heart of Handsworth, for the improved health and well-being of local people and the wider community. To raise awareness and enable participation for people to improve their own health and that of others, through sowing and growing opportunities.” – Seven Up
