In recognition of National Volunteers week, Birchfield Big Local, believe it is a perfect time to thank and recognise all our volunteers who so generously give up their time to help.
As the Volunteer Coordinator, I would like to express my personal THANKS to each of our volunteers who have volunteered during the past year. I am overwhelmed at times with the energy and spirit of our volunteers, we simply couldn’t do what we do without your fantastic commitment and contribution as you really do make a difference to our organisation and the community we support.
Our volunteers carry out many roles to assist us, this includes helping at community events or charity fundraisers, lending a hand in helping out at our Elders Christmas meal to assisting in supporting our residents who take part in sessions such as, during English speaking class, health & wellbeing programmes, Play activities for families and our Dominoes Club.
It is because of our dedicated volunteers that many of our activities have been a success.
