After a gap of two years owing to Covid-19, Birchfield Big Local is once again organising a Family Fun Day on Sunday 24th July from 1pm till 6pm. The venue is the Boat House Cafe in Handsworth Park. There will be games and sports related activities led by Richard Smith from Table Football Plus; face painting and mehndi; arts and crafts; smoothie bike and information stalls. Music will be provided by acclaimed saxophonist Xhosa Cole and his band. The event is being supported through a grant from Birmingham City Council’s Celebrating Communities Fund.
