This year (2016) the Birchfield Big Local partnership decided to introduce a small grants scheme to encourage individuals or groups within the area to set up projects that would benefit local residents and address some of the priorities.
There have been two rounds, with a third and final round planned towards the end of the year. Grants of up to £2,000 are available and five projects have received funding so far.
