Energy Adviser – Job Opportunity!

Interested in helping residents keep warm and well this winter and reduce energy bills? Birchfield Community Association (Birchfield Big Local) would like to appoint a part-time Energy Adviser to work with residents in the Birchfield area. With recent increases in the costs of energy, food, and other essentials many households are struggling to meet their basic needs. Birchfield Community Association (Birchfield Big Local) has teamed up with four other community organisations – Witton Lodge Community Association, Nishkam Civic Association, New Hope Global and Age Concern – to provide a community-based energy advice & advocacy service to help residents recover from the impacts of energy costs through energy saving measures, maximising income, and reducing utility bills.
