Stepping Forward aims to provide a friendly and relaxed environment in which local people can improve their prospects for the future and explore the opportunities available to them. It includes the support you might find in a job club. For example:
- help with writing CV’s
- how to access employment, training and education opportunities
- help with completing applications and letters
However, it will also offer the opportunity for people to learn new skills, for example, conversational English and basic IT and build their confidence. The support provided will be tailored to meet the specific needs of those attending and much of the support will be one-to-one.
The sessions will take place every Tuesday 12 – 3pm, at Grosvenor Road Studios, 16 Grosvenor Road, Birchfield B20 3NP. Places are limited, so please book early. Tea and coffee will be provided.
